Wednesday night, Jake and I went to see Mannheim Steamroller (Who's outfits and over all stage set-up are stuck in about 1983. White 3 piece suits??? Really???) at the Midland Theatre in downtown KC. The concert wasn't horrible, but we probably would have enjoyed ourselves just as much listening to the cd at home. It did help get into the Christmas spirit and hey, at least it was free, right?! But, the best part of the night was getting to see the Midland, it's just been completely renovated and it's just STUNNING. Mom & Dad got a cute picture of us on the stairs in the entryway, but all I managed was this lovely self portrait of the two of us. Nice.

Thanks to my bros for putting the kids to bed and hanging at our house until we got home.

It was nice to get out!
